Introduction
Add One is a brand new product designed to bring people together in real life, fostering meaningful connections during this highly digital era. The concept centers around in-person events with a unique twist: each event has a clear theme, and the host invites guests who, in turn, can "add one" friend they think would match the vibe. This way everyone knows at least one person and also has the opportunity to meet friends of friends. By connecting people who are just one degree of separation apart, Add One creates a more natural and enjoyable social experience.

As the Lead Designer for Add One, I translated this conceptual idea into a tangible product.
The brand
The brand identity was designed to evoke a sense of desirability and intrigue. It is centered around qualities such as connection, authentic, grounded, mysterious, exciting, curious, and curated. The color palette, typography, and visual elements were carefully chosen to reflect these attributes.
User journey map
I created a user journey map to better understand how our target users might interact with the product. Since we were building a new experience from the ground up, this tool was critical in shaping both our design direction and product priorities. I visualised the full end-to-end experience to identify emotional highs and lows, spot gaps and opportunities and build empathy across the team for the users.
Add One website
I designed and built the website for Add One. Keeping the brand top of mind–mysterious, curated, desirable–the purpose of the website is to create legitimacy without over explaining the Add One concept.
