The Sulu Blanket Collection by Lucy Tupu Studio is a line of blankets inspired by Lucy’s Samoan heritage and the influence of her father. Lucy designed the blankets and collaborated with a sustainable sheep farm in Wairarapa, New Zealand. I partnered closely with her throughout the process to bring the collection to life.

The label design

I designed the sewn-on labels for the blankets, creating a subtle but meaningful detail that reflects the identity and values behind the collection.

The packaging design

I also created the producy packaging, including a custom sleeve that introduces the Sulu story and elevates the unboxing experience, balancing warmth, simplicity, and brand alignment.

Photo shoot

For the photoshoot, I took on the role of art director and photographer, developing the visual concept, styling the set, and capturing imagery that highlights the texture, colour, and emotional depth of the blankets. The final assets were used across Lucy’s website, social media, and print materials.
