The objective of this project was to examine the specific design requirements of book design. This book is a deep dive into the history and classifications of typefaces.
I explored grid systems, hierarchies, alignments and imagery in order to help readers recognise kinds of typefaces and their historical origins. My final work demonstrates a thoroughly researched innovative approach with carefully considered typographic elements. I created a typographic system that handles large amounts of varied content, and that makes it readable and accessible.
